About these products Robust construction and high hardness: Made of HT300 cast iron, these models offer a jaw hardness of ≥53 HRC and a spiral plate hardness of ≥45 HRC. The heat-treated finish increases wear resistance and corrosion protection, ensuring a long service life in demanding metalworking applications. Precise clamping technology: The 3-jaw and 6-jaw versions are self-centering, allowing for quick clamping without recalibration. The 4-jaw model is independently adjustable and particularly suitable for irregular workpieces. This ensures stable clamping and consistent machining. Flexible size options: Available in 5" (125 mm), 6" (160 mm), and 8" (200 mm) sizes, these chucks accommodate a variety of workpiece sizes. Depending on the model, the internal clamping range is 3–200 mm and the external clamping range is 48–200 mm. Various connection types, such as 1 1/2-8, 2 1/4-8, or D1-4, ensure compatibility with many lathes. User-friendly design: The compact design and the included T-key or chuck key simplify assembly and handling. The design supports efficient power transmission and reduces setup times in the workshop and production environment. Versatile application: Suitable for turning, drilling, and milling round or polygonal workpieces. The different jaw configurations offer flexible application options for precise results in various machining tasks. Key differences: The 6-inch (160 mm) 3-jaw model K11 160A 1-1/2-8 features a 1 1/2-8 threaded connection and covers a clamping range of 3–145 mm, weighing 10 kg. The 8-inch (200 mm) 3-jaw model K11 200A 2-1/4-8 features a larger 2 1/4-8 shank and extends the clamping range to 200 mm at 16.05 kg. The 8-inch (200 mm) 4-jaw model K12 200 1-1/2-8 is independently adjustable for complex workpieces and weighs 18.7 kg. The 6-inch (160 mm) 6-jaw model K11 160A D1-4 utilizes a D1-4 cam locking mechanism and, with its six jaws, ensures exceptionally consistent clamping force at 11.1 kg. The 5-inch (125 mm) 4-jaw mini model is compact with a maximum speed of 3000 rpm and a runout tolerance of ≤0.003'. ...
